AI Analysis: Each article is processed using OpenAI's GPT-4o model (gpt-4o-2024-08-06, August 2024 release) with temperature=0.0 (deterministic mode) to extract trend values (−1.0 to +1.0 range), market context classification (DAX, NASDAQ, Tech, Crypto, Energy), relevance scores, and 12-sector taxonomy tags.
Validation: Predictions are evaluated against actual market movements using Yahoo Finance historical data (yfinance library) across multiple timeframes (1-day and 7-day windows) to calculate directional accuracy rates, probabilistic calibration, and correlation with real price movements. Statistical significance tested via Student's t-test (α=0.05) where sample size ≥10.
Statistical Processing: Reports include 95% confidence intervals, standard deviations, Pearson correlation matrices across sectors, and empirical calibration curves computed using SciPy statistical methods.
