Frequently Asked Questions

How is the hit rate measured?

The AI rates each headline’s tone as up, down or sideways for its market. We compare that with the actual price move one day later, using closing prices from Yahoo Finance. A check counts as a hit when the price moved the way the tone pointed.

What does the heatmap show?

The hit rate by the hour and weekday the article was published. Brighter cells mean the tone matched the move more often in that slot.

How often is this data updated?

The dashboard is recomputed every hour. New price checks run every six hours.

What does “by source language” mean?

We group sources by language — English, German, Spanish and French — and measure the hit rate within each group.
